Acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic acid copolymer
Acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic acid copolymer

ASA (Acrylonitrile- Styrene- Acrylate Copolymer) is a highly weather-resistant thermoplastic. It can be regarded as the “outdoor version of ABS” - it replaces the butadiene in ABS, which is vulnerable to ultraviolet and oxygen attacks, with the more resistant acrylate. As a result, it will not yellow, become brittle or fade when exposed to the outdoors for a long time. ASA not only retains its high impact resistance, high rigidity and good processability, but also can stably maintain its color and luster. It is widely used in automotive exterior parts, colored roof tiles, outdoor furniture and air conditioning shells, etc., where they need to withstand long-term exposure to sunlight and rain.
