Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer
Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer

Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) copolymer is a thermoplastic plastic formed by the copolymerization of three monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. It can be regarded as a “general-purpose engineering plastic that combines rigidity and toughness” - it provides chemical resistance and rigidity through acrylonitrile, impact resistance through butadiene, and good processing fluidity and surface gloss through styrene. Therefore, it has excellent impact resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature resistance and dimensional stability, and is easy to be injection-molded, extruded and electroplated. ABS is widely used in automotive interior parts (dashboard, door handles), household appliance shells (refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, televisions), electronic devices (keyboards, display cases), toys (Lego blocks), luggage compartments and pipe fittings and other occasions that require comprehensive mechanical properties and aesthetic surfaces.
