Rubber molds refer to specialized molds used for shaping various rubber products. They are widely applied in fields such as automotive sealing parts, industrial shock absorbers, O-rings, rubber sheaths, medical rubber parts, and household appliance cushion pads. Rubber materials possess characteristics such as high elasticity, oil resistance, and weather resistance. Their molding processes mainly include compression molding, injection molding, and transfer molding. The mold structure is significantly different from that of plastic injection molds.
The rubber molds manufactured by our company are made of high-quality mold steels (such as P20, H13, Cr12MoV, etc.), combined with precise CNC processing and electrical discharge machining. This ensures that the cavity accuracy can reach ±0.02mm. The mold design fully considers the shrinkage rate of rubber materials (usually 1.2% - 2.5%) and the control of burrs. The parting surfaces, burr grooves and exhaust grooves are reasonably arranged to ensure that the edge of the product is neat and the size is stable. According to product requirements, multi-cavity layout, automatic ejection devices and pre-forming auxiliary structures can be configured. They are suitable for various rubber materials such as fluorosilicone rubber, silicone rubber, ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM), and nitrile rubber (NBR).
We can offer a complete set of services ranging from rubber formula suggestions, mold structure design to mold trial verification and small-scale trial production, helping our customers produce high-precision and long-lasting rubber products.
